I just can't quit you, Fresh GraNOLA

I'm so busy. I have virtually no free time. My life moves at a rapid pace. I spend my drives to and from work talking on the phone with friends and/or making doctor's appointments or asking my bank or cell phone company questions. I pump breastmilk twice a day at work- during that time I check my husband's photography emails, blog, check my facebook, or sometimes continue doing "work" work. I sleep from roughly 11:00pm to 6:30am, with at least one half ass wake-up to feed the baby. But, I love my life, my family, and my hobbies.

Recently, I thought it would be best to let go of my favorite hobby/ small business. I was wrong. I miss it. I miss filling orders, testing new prodcuts, connecting with people, etc. I miss "marketing". I miss having something that's mine, outside of my work and family- something I could put my name on and be proud of. So, I did what any insane normal person would do. I opened Fresh GraNOLA again! I enlisted the help of my husband. He's going to help me make the laundry powder and fill orders when necessary. He's also going to help me focus locally, by helping me get products together to take to local shops/boutiques to discuss them carrying the product in their stores.

I'm scared, because I know it's going to take more of my time, but I'm excited. I love doing this and can't simply stop. If you don't know the story behind Fresh GraNOLA, read about it here, and be sure to check out my etsy store here.

A planner's dream

I am a huge planner, y'all. I literally have lists about lists I have to make. My poor Kadence saw me with a notebook and her response was, "Mommy, you makin' a list?" For the past couple weeks I've been planning our trip to Disney. We've discussed going there ever since Kadence was born....but we just couldn't stop having kids! Our original plan was to go May 2012. Then, in May 2011, I went and got pregnant, again. So, now we are planning for early 2013. We're saving money, emailing travel agents, stalking Disney websites, the works. It's a Type A girl's mothership. I get to plan when we are going, what park(s) we are going to go to each day, what attractions we will see/do at each park, where we will eat. Oh the lists I am making! At first, it was overwhelming, but with some guidance from my mommy message board friends, I am getting the hang of it.

I know what you're thinking. How on earth can I make all these plans knowing full well they could change at any moment, based on one of the three toddlers who are coming with us. I'll tell you. I am making flexible plans. We are going to make reservations for 5 things, over the five days we will be there. Otherwise, the plans I'm making are just going to be loose guides. Also, if we don't see EVERYTHING, that's okay. This is our first family trip, and I'm confident there will be others. If we miss some attractions or events, that's okay. One thing I will not miss is lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table. I have to take Kadence to that. And I think I will enjoy it more than she will.

Anyway, that's where I've been and what I'm doing with every second of my free time these days. It's finally starting to come together and make sense. I can't wait. I am scouring the web for personal stories, tips/tricks, or anything really about taking young kids to Disney, so if you know of anything, or have any experience, let me know.
